“I am quite satisfied with the annual service on my A/C furnace gas pack by Brandon Goza. He seemed very thorough, competent, polite and professional; opening the top of the unit to see inside for any visible problems and even removing some components for cleaning and inspection. From what I could tell, he spent enough time to inspect all that needed inspecting. I have had this unit for three years now and the last service technician from a different company (which was also the first after the installation of the system) I had out for the annual check-up did far less than Brandon. In fact, it was during the summer months and he only checked the A/C portion of the system. As a side note, I spent 20 years in the service industry, installing and servicing electronic alarm systems. So I am no stranger to customer service. Brandon was a pleasure to interact with.”
“My AC techs were Peter B. and Ron M., they were prompt, clean, thorough and professional. They even put on booties before entering my home. They addressed every concern and question I had, and even gave me advice on keeping my AC unit running healthy. I had them come out because my electric bills have been higher than expected and I wanted to check if my AC was the source of the problem. It would have been very easy for them to be dishonest and tell me the AC unit was causing my electric bill to be high and then try to sell me a brand new one. How would I have known any better? Instead, they checked and measured everything, keeping me informed every step of the way. Then, they wrote up an honest report stating my AC was operating as expected and I did not need a new one at this time. The only thing they found was that my air filter was too dirty and needed replacing. “I had a problem with my heat pump last year and called Rite Way after they were recommended by a friend. The technician showed up on time, was very professional and had the problem (a malfunctioning blower) fixed that afternoon.A few months later the heat pump began malfunctioning again. I called Rite Way and they sent a tech out. After examining the unit the tech told me that the blower was bad. When I told him that the blower had been replaced by Rite Way only a few months previously, he checked his records and acknowledged that they had done the work. He then replaced the blower free of charge. My heat pump has worked flawlessly since.This level of service really impressed me. These days it takes receipts in triplicate, copies of the contract and an Act of Congress to get a company to stand behind its’ work. Any time I have heat pump problems I call Rite Way! There are companies that are cheaper but remember: you get what you pay for.”

“I got in contact with Rite Way on Sunday and they had a rep at my house that afternoon. After reviewing their product and price, I decided to have my dead 14 year old HVAC and water heater replaced. The job was started Monday at 9am as scheduled and on time. Both Jonathan and John showed up in uniform and worked all day. It was a relief to have AC running smooth and quiet in the 100 degree Tucson heat. Having a repair person showing up on time was a big plus. I’m not used that. Subsequent follow up calls and questions were promptly returned and answered. I give this company a 5 star rating.”

“They seemed to be the most professional of the other companies who came to offer a quote. One company just came and looked around and offered a quote. Rich came offer, went into the attic to check some stuff. Took measurements of the gate outside, as well as others. He told me, they will most likely need a crane depending on the size of the unit I was purchasing. The he went on his computer and did some calculations to determine the right size of the unit I needed. The other company did none of these. After a few days of thinking about it I decided to go with Rite Way. I am glad I did. They came in, put up sheets, to protect my stuff, and went about their business. The system is working great!”

“I have had 2 awesome experiences with Rite Way. In January 2017, we had our water heater go out, and more recently in May 2017 we had an air conditioning unit stop working. Jeff was our plumbing technician He was able to work a temporary solution to get our system back online for hot showers in winter, then did a complete install of a new tankless unit to replace our failed 12 year old tank unit. Mike Davis was our electronics technician. He was able to trouble shoot our system to a couple fundamental problems that were easy repairs and much less than a complete new unit.
Both Jeff and Mike were courteous and extremely knowledgeable in their domains and were able to thoroughly explain the details of the issues and repairs enabling me to make informed decisions.
Their prices were reasonable for the work required. You never want to have issues with your heating, cooling, or plumbing, but if you do, Rite Way is defiantly the way to go.”
“I replaced the main water heater, A.C. and furnace at out residence. Their estimate was higher than my other two estimates but I feel I was given so much more. They uncovered blatant code and safety violations that existed that the other contractors did not see. For example, my old A.C. was wired directly into my incoming electrical wiring without going through a breaker. My old water heater and furnace vented directly into my evap cooler air inlet. My existing gas line was not big enough for both a water heater and furnace. And finally, my old A.C. was not big enough for the square footage of the house. They got permits for every phase of the work. Pima County and Southwest Gas inspected and verified all work accomplished with no defects noted. I’m not sure other contractors would have gotten the permits.”
“On May 19, 2015 I had two new central air conditioning (and furnaces) units replaced in my home. I had gotten an estimate from another company, which turned out to be $2,300 more than Rite Way’s estimate. Rite Way told me about a TEP rebate of $850 per unit, which the other company failed to disclose. They arrived on time and spent the entire day (until 6:00 PM) installing both units. Rite Way (and their crew) did an excellent job of installing both units which was no easy task. They were very professional, clean and knowledgeable about the installation. Everything was spotless when they left. The job went very smooth. The next day my salesperson came to my home to inspect the installation. I would highly recommend this company.”
“We’d suffered through too many Tucson Monsoons before we gave in and got A/C. Upkeep on the old swap box got to be too much and only made the hot and humid days of July more hot and humid. Rite Way did the entire removal, installation and start up in one day. (the last worker left at 9:30 pm though). We no longer look for excuses to get out of the house just to find a place with A/C. So it’s actually Saving money.”

“My AC was on the fritz most of the summer. Prior to calling Rite Way, I had numerous service calls through a different company who kept changing parts including the coil but couldn’t keep the unit running for more than 4 days at a time. On the last service call, I was told that they had to reroute the line set (whatever that is) because the one under the foundation was leaking. It was going to cost me $1200. I called another company who quoted me the same thing.I finally called Rite Way who immediately sent out a tech to assess the problem. The service techs, diagnosed the problem and fixed it the “rite way”. The previous company had mixed the refrigerants and failed to vacuum the line when they recharged it. And Rite Way could find no leak in the line set. They replaced the filter, vacuumed the line and recharged the system. The tech waited by the unit to make sure it was done correctly. When they came into the house, they put little booties over their shoes to keep from tracking mud into the house.I was very impressed with their service and the unit has been running perfectly since. The techs were humorous, friendly and knew their business.I will definitely recommend Rite Way to all my friends and neighbors. They did me “rite”.”

“I am so relieved we had Rite Way do our system. We had several bids, and they were by far the most comprehensive. Another bidder that was less tried to tell us they were doing the same thing, but they were only using the same equipment, nothing else was as good as what Rite Way was going to do. Like when you compare one vacation with the next, and the only thing similar is the airline!! From the estimator to the last installer, these guys were great!! Do what I did, go to the office of any company you are looking to get prices from, you will be shocked at how they take care of THEIR stuff! My AC went out a couple of nights ago and I had originally contacted another company to come out and fix it (A&M heating and cooling) and they didn’t even show up. I called Rite Way and within the hour someone was at the house ready to go. They were extremely polite and professional on the phone, and the repairman “Andrew” was fantastic. “There’s something different about this outfit. They’ve been servicing my heating/cooling units (there are 2) for several years. They check/clean/tune the units at the start of each heating and each cooling season. For the last couple years they’ve been sending out servicemen who noticeably take their time checking things out and explaining to you where things are with your unit. Compared to your generic ‘repairman’ they seem very knowledgeable and they patiently take whatever time needed so you understand the status of your unit, anything that is necessary as far as maintenance or repair, or anything they recommend to improve or maintain performance.
Regarding that last thing, I appreciate the fact that these guys make recommendations and that’s that; there’s no pressure or sales pitch which has been my experience with A/C service people in the past. If you turn down a suggested upgrade, they’re okay with that.
Today they sent out Andrew C. who I think did a great job. He looked over and tuned up both units and reported that they looked pretty good– reasonably clean and functioning well. He said that even though they’re 10 years old, I would most likely be able to count on them for several more years’ service, possibly even 5 more years Obviously that wasn’t a guarantee; that he couldn’t do. But it did give me some idea of what to expect for the near future; I’m not expecting one or both of them to suddenly conk out in the next year (again, obviously he wasn’t giving me a guarantee or anything, but some reassurance).
He adjusted some of the vents to get more warm air into one room that’s always a little too cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
He recommended carbon monoxide monitors in the house (they always do); I said no, that in my opinion CO poisoning may not be such a bad way to go. Just the same he still went ahead and checked for CO throughout the house, and reported there was no problem. Again, I appreciated the reassurance.
It’s not common to see the same guy twice, but I’ve had similar good interactions with every one of the service folks Rite Way’s sent out here for the past couple years. To me it looks like they’re taking the whole concept of customer service seriously—I wish more repair outfits in Tucson would copy what they’re doing.”
